Former MedMen executive James Parker co-founded Huntington Beach, California’s Leonid Capital Management in 2019 and continues to manage all aspects of financial strategy, capital fundraising, and general operations at the alternative credit platform. The company specializes in the support of contractors working with National Defense agencies such as the United States Space Force. Prior to establishing Leonid Capital Management, he spent 16 months with Medmen/MM Enterprises in Los Angeles as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. During his time with MedMen/MM Enterprises, James Parker managed approximately $200 million in acquisitions and investments and completed a public listing via a reverse merger with an initial valuation of $1.65 billion.

Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts in astrophysics from Rice University in Houston and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles. Prior to earning his MBA, he gained professional experience as a NASA Mission Control - Flight Controller at United Space Alliance in Houston and as a Satellite Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale.
